Select Tours are very special trips for adults only - travelling in airconditioned mini-coaches with highly experienced and knowledgeable guides. The trips include all entrance fees and lunch, and as places are limited to a maximum of 20 we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment. We have four Select Tours for you to choose from, depending on your holiday resort.
Kykkos Select
Nestled high in the pine-clad Troodos Mountains you’ll find the Kykkos Monastery. The monastery is ornately decorated with wonderful mosaics in bright colours. It is also renowned for its wealth, with many gold icons and beautifully preserved frescoes. The journey into the Troodos Mountains is spectacular. We’ll pass small villages and get a glimpse of traditional Cypriot life. Enjoy a light breakfast with the locals in a mountain village and a tasty lunch later on, you will even get to try freshly made bread in Troodos Square. Our guides will fill your day with plenty of stories and unravel the history of Cyprus, piece by piece. Lunch is included.

Nicosia Select
Explore the hidden side of Europe’s last remaining ‘’Divided City’’. With your experienced guide you will explore the area deep inside the Venetian walls. Stroll into the Old Market and visit a shop selling local produce and handicrafts before enjoying lunch in the pretty Laiki Yitonia district. Visit the Byzantine museum and then make the most of some free time to explore the shops or see a panoramic view of the city from the top of the Observatory Tower. Lunch is included.

Famagusta Select
Uncover Famagusta’s hidden treasures, one of which is the City of Salamis. The ancient site covers an area of one square mile, extending along the seashore. Your guide will lead you around the amazing amphitheatre and the gymnasium, both of which have been extensively restored. We continue our journey into the old city of Famagusta, where we have the chance to see the abandoned town. This town has literally stood-still since the invasion of the Turks in 1974. The citadel, also known as ‘Othello's Tower’ is one place that you must visit while you are here. All entrance fees are included in the cost, as is lunch in a local taverna – making this day out, excellent value for money.

Cyprus Select: Flavors of Cyprus
You will take you through villages that are practically abandoned where you will have the chance to taste food cooked by local women, then onwards down paths and tracks hidden in the hills. Here the scent of lavender, thyme and pine trees replaces the pollution of the coastal areas; our route will also take in tiny chapels, eco-museums and churches.
