Limassol Port
General Information
This breakwater port is located on the South coast of Cyprus and has an approach channel dredged to 15M while there is a distance of 250m between the ends of its breakwaters. The inner harbour is dredged to 11m and vessels of virtually any L.O.A. but with a maximum draft of 10.5m to 12.5m at the three old quays and 13.5m at the new quay can be accommodated under any conditions. The turning circle in port 600m dredged at 15m, outer anchorage is at open roadstead without draft limitations.

Ton. Certificate (1969), Passenger safety capacity for passenger ships, Ship’s particulars)
Radio: CABLE sent through Cyprus Radio CALL SIGN 5BA. VHF: Port Manager and Pilots equipped with VHF Radiotelephones operating on Channels 10
VTS: Limassol port control is manned 24 hrs, keeping watch on VHF channel 9. Vessels approaching are required to report as soon as they are 12 miles away from Limassol Port.
