Principal Navigation Aids:           
The following is conspicuous when approaching Limassol: White building (Hospital) 8km north of the port, Water tower 56m high, 6 cables NNW situated on the NW side of the town.

Restrictions:                                        
Tankers and gas carriers are not permitted to enter the port and vessels carrying dangerous cargo are only allowed with special permission of the Port Manager.

• 0ne Tug boat: Bollard Pull 16.5 Tons (BHP 1320)

Berthing/ Unberthing:                    
Berthing space decided every day (Port Meeting 11.00 hrs/day). Vessels may berth/unberth port between 06.00 hrs and 23.30 hrs. For container operations pilotage service up to 02.00 hrs. Berth allocation according to sequence of arrival. Priorities granted to passenger/cruise ships, container and ro-ro ships as well as ships for export of agricultural products.
Berths & Cargo:
General Cargo/ Bulk Berths:
Total quay length 880m, (North quay 430m. and West quay 450m.) depth alongside of 11m to 13m served by 1x35t rail mounted slewing crane, mobile x 40t, 2x40t  mobile cranes 1x21t mobile crane and a number of  private cranes up to 110 tons.(1x100t mobile, 5x40t mobile, 2x35t mobile, 1x25t mobile, 6x6t mobile, 31x1.5-4 tons forklifts.
Container Berths:
Total length of 1100m, (East quay 480m. and New West quay 620m.)
East quay with a depth alongside of 11m served by 2x40 tons Gantry cranes.
New West quay with a depth alongside of 14m served by 2x40 tons Panamax and 2x45t Post Panamax quay cranes.0
Tanker Berths:
Conventional buoy berths for oil discharging only.

Ro-Ro Berths:     
Ro-Ro vessels can be accommodated at any quay. However a 50m long at a 60cm height above seawater. Ro-Ro berth also available, with a depth of 14m.
Dolphin Berths:
There are five dolphin berths at the south end of the west basin, with a depth of 11m alongside. Maximum ship’s displacement 20,000 tons free surface expose to air 5000sq. m.
