Village of Cyprus - Prastio
This village nestles amidst pretty scenery. The medieval church of "Panagia Diakinousa" is actually 'three churches in one' - the two older chapels are 14th century, and one was possibly part of a monastery. The barrel-vaulted part is the third and dates from the 18th century. The church is at the outskirts of the village. To find it, drive through the village on the main road and turn right just before the last village houses. Park next to the iron gates. The church is below.
